Armed to the Teeth

Episode 1 of 26

Episode 1 of 26. It starts by showing Kathy looking for Vin in the basement. There is a power-out and she has to wander around in the darkness to find the lights. When she finds them and turns them on, she is suddenly attacked by a monster who we only see the arms of. She wakes up afterwards claming the experience was a dream. We then see her with the other classmates in McBeth's class getting back math tests which all got 0's with two exceptions. Vin got -12 and 14,000 lines for it. She then falls over which causes the class to laugh at her. In her new fury she magnifies Vins punishment to 30,000 lines "I am a lonely worm when it comes to maths." Out of sheer boredom, she moves recess up to 10:45am and sends them packing out of her class. Mr Soper walks up to Vin in the rush and tells him about his bad grades in maths. He then suggests he talk to Kathy about getting help but Vin being proud of his looks and all wasn't keen on the idea, even though Kathy seemed keen yet uncertain on it. She says hi to Vin who ends up fleeing leaving her confused about the situation. We then see a scene with McBeth in her secret lab as she happily sets out to try a new invention which will catch INK. 860 cameras stuffed with microphones which automatically set off the alarm when the words "Invisible Network of Kids" are spoken. We then see a scene with INK sitting on a park bench contemplating why McBeth would EVER give an early mark noting she often keeps students back long after class. Because of this suspition, she issues a level 1 alert which sets off the alarm allowing McBeth to identify them on the cameras. Kathy once again approaches Vin and asks about helping him but she is soon questioned why Vin would need help. Vin being critical and all without the help of his friends eventually says he will meet her in the basement where she won't be seen with him. Kathy uncertain and all accepts optimistically and leaves. Newton and Trixie critisise him right after calling him "Mean & Hypocritical" for treating Kathy like a horrible person with braces. McBeth watching and all listens as Vin tries to justify his actions and ends up giving McBeth an evil idea for a robotic apparatis. Newton and Trixie notice one of the cameras and soon formulate an escape plan to cover their identities. Zero starts to drag Vin away towards the coat rack in the cafeteria but is stopped by Trixie who brings up a previous topic called the "Internet Club" which not only sets off McBeth's alarm but also fools McBeth by making her think they are "internet nerds".

We see Vin later on walk into McBeths classroom to start his 30,000 lines when blue sleeping gas comes out of the pen he is using causing him to fall asleep. He wakes to find his voice sounding muffled and something in his mouth. He realises it is braces and storms off to McBeths office to question her on them. McBeth notifies him that the apparatis was his idea and they will prevent him from calling for help. Vin tries to get help anyway going up to Trixie, Newton and Zero in the library to get their help but they see him as being in denial so he runs off in a panic. He soon approaches other students like Van and Jessbelle who quickly but discretely flee from him leaving him to be the laughing stock of the school. He is then seen walking back in the rain when Burt makes fun of the braces. Vin tries to fight back but is stopped by the apparatis and ends up being stuffed into the garbage can by Burt who sets off Vins anger and hence his tentacles for the apparatis which McBeth soon tells him about and asks him to capture other students. Vin refuses and ends up getting forced to capture students anyway, starting with Kathy who he is to meet in the basement. Meanwhile the rest of INK think things over and decide to check his dental records by setting up a diversion from Newton to see why he needed braces. They find his teeth were perfect and figure out it is McBeth behind all of this. Vin in the meantime ends up approaching Kathy to capture her and Vin picks up her notebook as well. Kathy is captured and taken to McBeth to get the apparatis. Zero and Newton soon get to the basement to look for Vin and find Kathy's notebook with Vin's writing in it which Trixie deciphers as a coded message calling for help and giving instructions on McBeths secret lair through the teachers bathroom. Zero and Newton find their way in quickly and look around. While looking around Newton stuck a rubber glove over Zero's head. We then see McBeth give orders to Kathy who refuses her orders. In McBeths rush, Trixie tells her through a speaker that the apparatis doesn't work on those who don't fear being ugly. She soon starts a brawl by sending Vin to catch Kathy who is then saved by Zero who is wearing an apparatis and brawls with Vin only to lose. Trixie then tries reasoning with Vin who finally regains control and watches McBeth who is now fleeing in terror over her loss. He then removes his apparatis as well as Kathy's who is happy to see him normally. The scene then changes to the library where Vin finally gets it and thanks Kathy for helping him. Seeing this as a touching moment everyone else acted modest and Mr Soper walked up to congratulate Vin on improving and walks away. Kathy them says she saw them in a nightmare which acually was real but Newton used a "Kelidoscopic Diaramic Vision Aid" which hypnotised her into believing it was only a dream. Vin later is seen estatic about Kathy's help and he makes amends for his judgement on Kathy. Zero then asks "Where's Newton?" with Trixie telling them he is testing his latest invention out which we see to be the smokebomb from before. He uses it to taunt McBeth and blind the cameras at the same time.

Mr Soper disco

Mr Soper walks into class wearing a pink disco suit which Burt calls "Rediculous". He then informs Burt that it used to be the "Cutting Edge in fashion". He tells them in the past is was very expensive to dye ones clothes so the more colour you wore, the richer you were. Ben then asks if they thought is once was pretty to be overweight. Mr Soper then tells him that in the 16th Century, Ravished by famine and epidemics mean't to look healthy and hence attractive you needed to be fat which was excessive. He then said it all changed in the 1930's where it worked in reverse and you had to be pale and thin to be considered attractive. He then told them women used to drink vinegar to get a pasty palor and they would sleep less so they get big bags under their eyes. He the says "In a nutshell, physical beauty and ugliness change all the time so in the end, they are notions that mean nothing at all and Vin who is so proud of his looks would probably make his grand-children crack up with laughter.
